Here’s a special, off-schedule post that covers three separate and important topics.
Be sure to read all the way through to catch them all.
Millionaire Interviews
First on the list: we need more millionaire interviews (and retirement interviews for that matter). We have 450 in the bank as of this writing, and I’d like to get to 500 soon.
If everyone who has requested a millionaire interview questionnaire would actually fill it out, we’d be around 525 interviews already, but that’s a different story! lol
Anyway, I’d appreciate it if anyone reading this who’s a millionaire and hasn’t completed an interview would do so. Simply email me if you’re interested and I’ll send the instructions and questions right away.
As my gift to you for doing a millionaire interview, we get to point two of this post…
Become a Mentor
Anyone can become a mentor in the Millionaire Money Mentors (MMM) forums (and get free access to the forums) by following these steps:
- Complete a millionaire interview on ESI Money.
- Agree to introduce themselves in the forums.
- Agree to minimum posting requirements (because we want active mentors, not just hang around mentors). Here’s the wording I currently send them:
You need to post in the forums at least once per week. This can be a comment on someone else’s post or creating your own. Each post should be at least 200 words (for reference on how long it can be). I’ll be giving some latitude here as long as roughly 800 words are posted a month (so it could be 200 one week, 100 the next, 300 the next, and so on). But it simply can’t be “good comment” posted four times since that adds no value to anyone.
An interviewee is eligible to become a mentor if the above is acceptable to them once the interview is published (NOT when it is submitted). This is why I encourage people to do their interviews ASAP. Even if they don’t want to become mentors now, they could in the future and having an interview completed and posted in advance gives people quick access if they want to become mentors. This assumes, of course, that the free offer continues to be available. I could rescind it at any point (for new mentors, not existing ones). Not that I’m thinking about that, but it could happen.
If someone is a current member of MMM and wants to become a mentor, the same rules apply. The only difference is what happens with their membership fee.
There are no refunds on memberships, but we simply have them turn off auto-renew when their interview posts (if they want to become mentors), so they are not charged when their membership is due.
Finally, there’s no requirement to become a mentor once you do a millionaire interview. Many complete one just to share their story and help others, but do not want to commit to being a mentor (this applies to those who are already members in the forums as well as those who aren’t.) There’s no pressure either way and the decision is completely up to the individual.
And as of now, the offer is a standing one, so if your interview is published today, you don’t want to become a mentor now, then you change your mind in three years, you can do so based on the mentor requirements in place at that time. (Again, assuming I still offer it.)
Kindle Book Giveaway
Finally, I have a giveaway for everyone today. It’s a Kindle version of “Passive Income, Aggressive Retirement” by forum member Rachel Richards. The rules of the giveaway:
- This is a Kindle version of the book. That’s the only format available.
- The winners are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
- To try and win a copy, send me an email with the subject of “PIAR Giveaway.” I’ll then email winners a free code to get the book.
- If you don’t hear from me that means we are out of copies. I have a lot of them, but the response to some of these giveaways is pretty massive.
- As a winner, you agree to claim your book within seven days. If you don’t, you lose the right to it and I’m allowed to give it to someone else.
- As always, all giveaways are final and I have complete authority to change anything about the giveaway in any way I might want to. I haven’t ever done this, but I just want to note I have the right to just in case things go south. Hahaha!
Best of luck to you all!
